Happy Fall!
If you haven’t had the joy of pulling out a sweater, brewing a cup of tea, or order a pumpkin spice latte yet – no worries! It is here! I have been watching the colors changing at my office and on our yearly fall camping trips!
September is such a weird month because it always feels like the weather can’t quite make up its mind. Should it let go of summer? No, not yet… Maybe? No, definitely time to be chilly. Except for when remembering what chilly is and decide that no, summer must have one more day.
But yesterday was October first, so it really is truly official. It is fall.
Because yesterday was October first, that also means that this week was decision time for my Book of the Month pick!
I have finally gotten on the V. E. Schwab bandwagon. Just this past weekend, I began reading A Darker Shade of Magic. So given the option to pick up her most recent book, The Invisible Life of Addie Larue as my October choice – it seemed like a no brainer.
While my blog here has not been filled with quite as much writing as I started out doing back in January, my reading is finally getting back up to speed. Life is becoming a little more close to normal, so my hope is that I can return to posting at least once a week – if not the ambitious twice a week I had been doing previously. I also just overhauled the site, so that will hopefully help center me with content as well.
If you’ve read The Invisible Life of Addie Larue – or any others of V. E. Schwab’s books – let me know what you thought!
